Rework Operator

Job Summary

  • Performs rework on PCBAs at the component level and mechanical sub-assemblies.  Requires tear down and reassembly of products in support of the MFG.  IPC-7711/21 Rework Certification preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performs rework on PCBAs at the component level and mechanical sub-assemblies.  Requires tear down and reassembly of products in support of the MFG.  IPC-7711/21 Rework Certification preferred.
  • - Performs tear down and reassembly of product that has failed internal testing
  • - Visually inspects product to decide the best course of action in order to repair
  • - Replaces any and all necessary components per instructions
  • - Performs soldering of components if necessary, sometimes under a microscope
  • - Visually inspects product once repaired and moves it to the next station
  • - Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations, and as directed by supervisor
  • - Complies and follows all procedures within the company security policy

Qualifications and Skills

  •  Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • - Must be available for overtime when needed.
  • - Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and sometimes weekends
  • - Must be open and willing to learn with a positive attitude
  • - Be able to pass English ESD and Safety quiz during orientation.
  •  - Must pass drug screening and background check
  •  - Must be able to provide eligibility to work in US
  • - HS diploma or equivalent preferred; one to three years related experience and/or training
  • - Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job related certifications
